Backstory
Original Poster (OP) was at a fairly large fundraiser she organized tonight and it got completely ruined by her ex-friend, let’s call her Jenna.
OP is quite open with her friends about my line of work (streetwalker) but she’s not with family and those she doesn’t know well.
Jenna’s Insensitive Comment
During the event, OP was talking to a group and Jenna blurted out “She can donate so much because she makes so much making adult movies.”
OP was stunned. It became incredibly awkward. OP pulled Jenna aside and asked her what the hell?
The Argument Became A Heated One
She said it wasn’t a big deal. OP told her it was a big deal to her.
“It’s not her information to share.”, says OP.
She tried dismissing it, and OP got angry. OP told her to leave. It became a heated argument.
OP’s Remark Before Having Her Kicked Out
After some back and forth, OP told her that at least she works for her money and doesn’t need a rich partner that she doesn’t love to get the lifestyle she wants (that is true, she told OP in the past she’s only with her boyfriend because he’s rich).
Jenna still refused to leave and continued to cause a scene. Eventually, OP called security and had her kicked out.
What Happened After The Event?
After the event, OP checked her phone.
The argument they had got recorded, but only from part way through, so the bit about OP’s work is missing, but there is the part with what OP said about her partner and her being kicked out. It had been shared within their circle a lot.
What Next?
Jenna had blown up OP’s phone! She is furious.
“Her boyfriend saw it and broke up with her. She told me I humiliated her and ruined her relationship. Am I a jerk?”, asks OP.
