BACKSTORY
OP and his partner live together. Although they have similarities in a lot of aspects, their views are very different when it comes to hygiene.
OP’S HYGIENE ROUTINE
OP is a person who likes to maintain good hygiene all the time. OP showers every night before going to bed.
OP’S PARTNER’S HYGIENE ROUTINE
On the other hand, OP’s partner is a bit reluctant when it comes to hygiene. OP’s partner showers three times per week.
THE DOG
OP and his partner also own a dog that sleeps with them on their bed every night.
WHO MAKES THE BED?
OP’s partner is a bit lazy when it comes to making the bed from scratch. OP is the one who makes the bed and does all the laundry on a regular basis.
THE BED SHEETS
OP thinks that it is important to wash the bed sheets once every week, as he wants to sleep in a clean bed.
WHAT DOES HIS PARTNER THINK?
OP’s partner thinks that washing a bed sheet once every week is too much and is a waste of energy and time.
Now OP wants to know if what he expects is wrong.

SHE DOESN’T WANT TO FEEL GUILTY
“She doesn’t want to feel guilty since he does all this extra stuff and him being the one that cleans it makes her feel like she’s not doing enough, but she doesn’t want to so she’s taking it out on him.”
I’M WONDERING IF SHE’S DISABLED
“Honestly, I’m wondering if she’s disabled/ill/in pain because I am mostly bed-or-housebound and cleaning the bed days are absolutely horrible because I have to set up somewhere else the entire day (no dryer) and it causes a lot of pain, and obviously showers are hard for me as well due to my disabilities.”
