BACKSTORY
OP stays with her husband, her kids, and also her sister-in-law. OP’s sister-in-law has been staying with them for a long time now, and OP has just one issue with her.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
The only reason why OP is fed up with her sister-in-law being around is that she continuously messes with the food that OP makes.
WHAT DOES SHE DO TO THE FOOD?
Every time OP would make a food item, her sister-in-law would interfere and make changes in the cooking, even after OP would ask her not to.
WHAT DID SHE DO TO THE SHRIMP?
A few days ago, OP was making steak and shrimp. Her sister-in-law waited until OP left the room, and then she came in and put an entire stick of butter in the shrimp, which was already done. She ended up completely ruining the food.
WHAT DID SHE DO TO THE SPAGHETTI?
Whenever OP would make spaghetti, her sister-in-law would start dumping sugar into the sauce. This would make the sauce so sweet that even the kids wouldn’t want to taste it.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
One day OP was making Mac and Cheese burgers at home. She went to the basement to grab some veggies. When she came back upstairs, she was shocked.

OP saw that her husband has started doing the same thing as her sister-in-law. OP’s husband was putting canned chicken into the Mac and Cheese, even after knowing that their kids don’t like it.
OP also saw her sister-in-law putting blocks of blue cheese into the partially-cooked burgers.

OP lost her calm and asked what they were doing. None of them had any good excuse, except “We were just trying to help”.

OP flipped and asked them to get out of there. Both of them told OP that she was overreacting, but OP wasn’t ready to listen.
