BACKSTORY
OP has an older sister who is sick most of the time.
OP’S SISTER’S HEALTH CONDITIONS
She keeps on getting rashes here and there and complains about not feeling well all the time. OP’s sister was even diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last year. Ever since she was diagnosed with it, she had been blaming everything on her disease.
BREAST IMPLANTS
Five years ago, OP’s sister got breast implants. Ever since she got it, she started complaining about feeling sick and horrible all the time.
OP’S TAKE ON IT
According to OP, her sister is suffering from breast implant illness. It is a condition where women, after getting breast implants, start feeling sick.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Recently, they had relatives over at their place. OP’s sister started her usual complaining to her relatives about how horrible she feels all the time because of her autoimmune disease.
OP LOST IT
OP got fed up with her sister’s nonstop complaining and ended up telling her that her feeling sick all the time was because of her breast implants and not the autoimmune disease.
OP’S SISTER STARTED SCREAMING
OP’s sister got offended and started screaming. Things got pretty heated up, and finally, their mother had to step in.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
OP’s mother took OP and her sister to another room. There she told OP that she was extremely wrong for saying such things about her sister.
OP EMBARRASSED HER SISTER
OP’s sister never really talked about the implants with anybody, and she wanted to keep it that way. OP’s mother also told OP that it was very wrong to expose her sister in front of everybody, primarily when the breast implant thing was meant to be a secret.
All the relatives were in shock and OP’s sister felt exposed and embarrassed. OP understands that she might have wronged her sister but is also very confused.
Now OP wants to know if this is wrong?
