OP’s best friend’s name is Sara. Sara’s boyfriend, Adam, recently called OP to discuss a “surprise wedding” plan.
SARA’S PERSONALITY
Sara is someone who loves organizing and planning things. She had previously mentioned that she wants a winter wedding if she ever gets married.

Sara recently confided in OP that she is thinking about drifting from Adam and taking a break.
ADAM’S PLAN
Adam wanted OP to distract Sara the whole day. Then he would surprise Sara with all her friends and family gathered and then have a wedding in the backyard.

OP told Adam that this wasn’t a good idea and that he should discuss it with Sara first.
WHAT DID OP SUGGEST INSTEAD?
OP suggested Adam to have an intimate proposal instead of having a surprise wedding. She also suggested Adam to have a conversation with Sara so as to know whether or not they both are on the same page.

OP told Adam that she feels obligated to let Sara know about this even so that she would be prepared for it. Adam got furious and had an argument with OP because OP initially agreed to the plan.

OP had initially agreed to the plan thinking it was a surprise ‘proposal’. Now that she knows it’s a surprise ‘wedding’ instead, she wants to tell her best friend Sara about it, but is also confused about whether she should interfere or not.
