BACKSTORY
OP works in a retail shop. She has a boyfriend she has been dating for two and a half months.
OP’S APARTMENT
OP stays in a very old building, so it often gets cold.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
OP and her boyfriend were in her apartment. OP’s boyfriend was wearing shorts as it was summer.
IT GOT COLD
As mentioned earlier, OP’s apartment gets cold pretty often, and OP is used to that. But her boyfriend isn’t used to it so he asked for something warm to wear.
EARLIER, OP BOUGHT A MEN’S HOODIE
The retail shop OP works at has both men’s and women’s sections. The women’s section is way too costly compared to the men’s section. Also, the quality of men’s clothing is far better than women’s clothing. So, OP bought a warm and cozy men’s hoodie for herself.
OP CAME OUT OF HER ROOM WITH THE HOODIE
OP went into her room and came out with the hoodie. She offered her boyfriend to wear it as he was feeling cold.
HE SNAPPED
OP’s boyfriend instantly got upset and asked her where she got it.
OP TRIED EXPLAINING
OP explained where she got it from and why she got it. But her boyfriend didn’t believe her. He thought that it either belonged to one of her exes, or she got it for another guy she had been seeing behind his back.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
OP’s boyfriend left and stopped replying to her texts and answering her calls. He said he won’t talk to OP, unless she returns the hoodie. OP is confused as she loves the hoodie and doesn’t really want to return it, but she also likes the guy and doesn’t want to lose him either.
Now OP wants to know if this is wrong.
