PICO DE GALLO

PINEAPPLE

ICED HIBISCUS TEA

SWEET POTATOES
“Sweet potatoes. It is baked at 400° Fahrenheit for an hour and doesn’t need anything on it (maybe some salt and a little olive oil/butter to bring out the flavor even more if you want). The side on the baking sheet tends to get slightly caramelized, which is tasty! Also, long, thin ones cook more evenly.
I like white sweet potatoes, especially the Japanese variety. They tend not to get as mushy as orange sweet potatoes/yams, which is nice.”
BABA GANOOSH
“Baba Ganoosh. It’s so creamy and decadent tasting. Also, it’s just eggplant (mostly).”
PEANUT BUTTER
“Peanut Butter. Specifically natural peanut butter. It has protein (1 tablespoon = 4 grams), healthy oils (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated), Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, iron, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, zinc, etc. Of course, anything in excess will not suit you, but having a few tablespoons of natural peanut butter daily is beneficial.”

“Kimchi. I only recently discovered it, and it quickly became one of my favorite foods.”

“Watermelon. It’s candy.”
