“National parks hire all kinds of people. They need people to cook food, do laundry, clean, do maintenance, mow grounds, take care of horses, maintain trails, and keep campgrounds clean.

All kinds of places hire landscapers.
The zoo is also a good place.
I work with a girl who runs boat tours. Out on the water for 10 hours a day.”

“Carriage driver. Mackinac Island companies hire people to drive the carriages every year. It gets you experience, and a lot of people do well with horse carriage businesses that do weddings and events like that. It’s one of the few ways to make a decent income and work with horses.”
