“When people have no spatial awareness. How do you not realize you’re standing in a doorway and blocking everyone? It drives me crazy. It was worse during lockdown when there could only be a certain number of people in a shop at once, and queues were outside.
People leaving the shop would stand right outside the door engrossed in conversation with each other, but to everyone else, it looked like they were in the queue to get inside. As a result, others would queue up behind them, even though they weren’t actually in line. When they finally did realize that they were confusing everyone, they’d act like it was everyone else’s fault.”

“Low beam headlights are so bright that nobody else can see anything. Bonus: the high beams aren’t any brighter but aimed at the sky.”

“Overweight people who are ‘body positive’ and celebrated.”
HATING NEW TECHNOLOGIES
“People that “hate” new technology. For example, self-checkouts. Why do you hate that you can leave the store faster when you do it yourself instead of standing there while the cashier slowly checks out your stuff.”
NOT USING HEADPHONES
“No headphones for people who talk on speaker phones or watch social media with volume in public. I want to throw them in the river.”
LITTERING
“People littering. Once, I was driving a company truck and saw an old person walking towards the nearest supermarket, going through her bags. She had one too many and decided to toss it into the river below. I fought hard the urge to run her over. Hope she’s not doing well.”
AUTOMATED PHONE CALLS
“I hate automated phone calls. I want a real person. But no. I get to scream to my phone till my neighbors call the police.”
PEOPLE STANDING IN DOORWAYS
“People who stand in doorways. I manage teams at many sports venues and the number of people who stand in the doorway (or in the stairwell) to chat or look. “Are you in or out?”
SPEEDING UP IN TRAFFIC
“When people in traffic speed up after you turn on your blinker, just to make sure you won’t get in front of them so that they can be one car ahead. When their speed would not have changed otherwise.”
RELEASING BALLOONS
“Releasing balloons in some stupid celebration. Balloons are deadly for animals. It is littering.”
