While most movies are only enjoyable once, there are some films that can be watched and enjoyed multiple times.
A user took it to the forum, and asked “What movie will you never stop watching?”. Here are the top responses.
THE THING
“John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’ is an awesome movie. I can watch it infinite times.”, said one user.
GOODFELLAS
“Me and my wife were talking about that yesterday. I remember talking about how it has some of the best scenes in cinema. My 2 favorites are when Henry talks to the camera in the courtroom at the end, and of course when mob members’ bodies are being found and the music playing is Layla from Derek and the Dominos. So amazing.”, said one user.
AIRPLANE!
“Just rewatched ‘Airplane!’ last week. My best friend and I quote it all the time, so I watched it the day before flying out to hang with him for a few days. I made sure to have the lasagna on my flight, just to be safe.”, said one user.
PREDATOR
“Mac is one of my favorite characters! ‘I don’t care who you are back in the world, you give away our position one more time, I’ll bleed ya, real quiet. Leave ya here.’
Mac had the most scenes that actually portrayed him as an actual person with feelings and range of acting. His friendship with Blain. Seeing his friend die and going HAM. His thirst for revenge, his monologue while drinking in the moonlight ‘I’m gonna cut your name into him.’, his scene where he breaks the shaving razor on his face, I felt his anger!” said one user.
GATTACA
“Hardly any loose ends, great acting, thought provoking, great score.”, said one user.
JURASSIC PARK
“It’s the perfect film to rewatch.”, said one user.
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA
“John Carpenter’s my man. Watch most of his films at least once a year, but there’s a special place in my soul for Big Trouble in Little China.”, said one user.
“I watched that movie for the first time in my mid 20’s and was instantly frustrated that I hadn’t seen it earlier. It was like that movie was specifically made for me. Love it.”, said another user.
THE MATRIX
“I love this movie. Especially the opening sequence. Get up, Trinity. Get up.”, said one user.
THE MUMMY
“I was literally just thinking about the boat shootout scene. Particularly when the bullet holes are getting closer to Rick and Evelyn keeps moving his head out of the way. That film is one of the best created.”, said one user.
HOT FUZZ
“Hot Fuzz to me is just as close to a perfect movie as you could ask for.”, said one user.
