BACKSTORY
OP rides back home from work by train every day.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
It was a Friday, and OP took a train. It was empty when she got on the train.
WHAT DID OP DO?
As the train was empty, she took a seat and put her bag on the next seat.
THE TRAIN GOT CROWDED
After a few stops, a lot of people got on the train.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
A group of old men was standing in front of her.
WHAT DID THEY SAY?
They asked OP to move her bag so that one of them could sit.
DID SHE MOVE HER BAG?
OP didn’t move her bag even after she was asked to.
WHY DIDN’T OP MOVE HER BAG?
OP had been harassed on trains in the past, so she didn’t want any man to sit beside her and start a conversation with her or flirt with her.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
One thing led to another and they got into a big argument. Finally, an employee got involved and moved OP to a handicapped seat. Now OP asks if what she did was wrong?

“If you’re taking a seat up with your bag and there are no other available seats, you are wrong.”, said one user.

“You judged the men in the train as wanting to harass or hit on you without any basis. Just like you paid to ride the train, so did they.
If you don’t want men sitting next to you, Uber or organize private transportation. Your sense of entitlement is off the charts. On top of that, because of your selfishness, they had to move you to a handicapped seat. Grow up!”, said another user.
